Ari is responsible for the origination, acquisition, finance & legal aspects of Stonehill Communities’ pipeline. He enjoys working on every part of the development & acquisition process from concept through disposition.

Prior to founding Stonehill Communities, Ari founded Stonehill Asset Management and Highline Property Group, through which he acquired, transacted, and dispositioned Real Estate across the Mountain West.

Ari graduated from the University of Denver with a Master’s Degree in Business Administration with a specialty in Real Estate Finance. He has an undergraduate degree in Biology from the University of Boulder, Colorado. Ari lives in Denver and enjoys Mountain Biking, Fly Fishing, and Skiing in his free time.

Jonathan is responsible for facilitating the company’s finance and portfolio management activities as well as overseeing all of Stonehill Communities’ back-office operations.

Prior to joining Stonehill Communities, Jonathan held similar positions with multiple local and regional development firms where he participated in $750 million in deal volume across multiple asset classes.

Jonathan attended the University of Nevada Las Vegas, where he earned a Bachelor of Arts in Economics. He is a proud native Las Vegan and continues to reside in Las Vegas where he enjoys spending time with his young family.

Austen is responsible for leading Stonehill Communities’ development platform, overseeing the execution and expansion of the firm’s development pipeline. Throughout the full investment lifecycle—from acquisition and concept through disposition—he directs market analysis, underwriting, feasibility, entitlements, capital raising, and oversight of design and construction. Austen also leads the firm’s asset management efforts, partnering with property management teams to maximize operating performance, execute business plans, oversee capital improvement initiatives, and drive long-term value creation across the portfolio.

Prior to joining Stonehill Communities, Austen was an Associate Vice President at CIM Group in Chicago, where he focused on a $1.5 billion pipeline of high-rise multifamily developments, including the redevelopment of the historic Tribune Tower and the entitlement of a future supertall mixed-use tower.

Austen earned his Master of Business Administration from Villanova University, specializing in Real Estate Finance, and holds a Bachelor of Science in Civil and Environmental Engineering from the University of Delaware.

Mason is a partner at Stonehill Communities and leads the group’s national acquisitions platform which focuses on acquiring existing multifamily properties.

Prior to joining Stonehill Communities, Mason was a Vice President at The Carlyle Group where he focused on U.S. real estate investment opportunities across various property sectors and geographies.

Mason graduated from Gettysburg College where he earned a Bachelor of Arts in Economics with a concentration in Finance.

Mary joined the Stonehill Communities team in 2021 where she oversees all of the accounting aspects of this innovative development company. She has over 15 years of comprehensive financial and management experience.

Prior to Stonehill Communities, Mary was the Controller for various private companies in the areas of consumer lending, retail, and construction. She began her career at a CPA firm in Orange County, CA.

Originally from California, Mary attended the University of California, Santa Barbara where she received a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting with an emphasis in Economics. She currently resides in Las Vegas with her husband and adorable daughter where they enjoy spending time with family and off-roading in their side-by-side.

Brendan grew up on the East Coast and moved to Colorado in 2017 where he attended the Leeds School of Business at the University of Colorado Boulder. At Leeds, Brendan earned his bachelor’s degree with a dual emphasis in Real Estate and Finance and graduated in May of 2021.

Brendan’s responsibilities primarily include asset management and business plan execution, as well as a wide range of various other key supportive roles. Since joining the Stonehill Communities team in August of 2021, Brendan has underwritten hundreds of multifamily transactions, been involved in over $500M in closings, and worked closely with the development team on many facets of the company’s several thousand-unit pipeline.

In his free time, Brendan enjoys skiing, fishing, dirt biking, and all else that Colorado has to offer.

Ryley is responsible for supporting Stonehill Communities’ development activities, including sourcing, underwriting, due diligence, and execution of multifamily and build-to-rent development opportunities.

Before joining Stonehill Communities, Ryley worked in institutional multifamily investment sales and real estate private equity, where he focused on multifamily acquisitions, development, and portfolio management.

Ryley attended New York University, where he earned a Bachelor of Arts in Economics and was a member of the men’s soccer team.

As Senior Associate, Acquisitions at Stonehill Communities, Kaleb Horn is responsible for sourcing, underwriting, and executing multifamily acquisition opportunities across high-growth U.S. markets. He partners with the firm’s leadership, capital partners, and lenders throughout the acquisition process, leading financial analysis, due diligence, transaction execution, and investment strategy to support the continued growth of the firm’s portfolio.

Prior to joining Stonehill Communities, Kaleb served as Director of Investments at The Habitat Company, where he was responsible for sourcing, underwriting, and closing multifamily acquisition opportunities while supporting the management and strategic growth of the firm’s investment portfolio.

Earlier in his career, Kaleb was an Investment Professional with CC Industries, the investment office of the Crown family, where he invested family equity across private companies and real assets spanning manufacturing, transportation, industrials, real estate, and other operating businesses. In addition to evaluating and executing investments, he partnered with portfolio company leadership on strategic growth initiatives, acquisitions, and corporate development efforts focused on creating long-term enterprise value. Prior to CC Industries, Kaleb was an Analyst at Harrison Street, where he supported institutional investments across housing, digital infrastructure, energy, healthcare, and other real asset sectors.

Kaleb holds a Bachelor of Science in Public Affairs from Indiana University.
